I am a Non-Chinese businessman and I believe feng shui does exist. Despite that, I had completely forgotten to consult a genuine feng shui master for determining an auspicious date for commencing my house renovations. Anyway, before the renovations had begun, everything had turned out to be very fine for me. Unfortunately, after the renovations had been completed, everything changed for the worse. My health is giving way, my business is deteriorating, my wife and I are often quarrelling over trivial matters and some of my business associates are running away from me. I feel extremely disappointed and depressed at times. Could you please explain to me why I am encountering all these negative happenings?

Very likely, the portion of the house in which your house renovations were carried out was located at the northeast direction. And very likely too, your renovations could have taken place within this period – between the 4^th of February, 1998 and 3^rd of February 1999.

Now please take note that the northeast direction is the actual direction where the “star number five” is located during the period that lies between the 4^th of February 1998 and 3^rd of February 1999. And please take note that this “star number five” is often referred to as “wu huang”. It often gives rise to injuries, sicknesses and accidents if it is affected.

Hence, any renovations at the northeast direction (during that particular period) would not be advisable at all. If the renovations, however, were being carried out; then “wu huang” would give rise to very inauspicious or bad feng shui indeed. Thus, it is not surprising that you health is giving way, your business is deteriorating, you and your wife are often quarrelling over trivial matters and some of your business associates are running away from you.

So please take note, that you are encountering all these negative happenings simply because your house has attracted negative or inauspicious feng shui as a result of provoking or disturbing “wu huang”; in the course of renovating your house.

However, all is not lost; and you could still do something in overcoming your problems. The negative or inauspicious feng shui of your residence could be suppressed if you could put up an aquarium with nine goldfish (the black color species) at the northeast corner of your house. You need to choose an auspicious or correct date in putting up the aquarium at the northeast location of your residence. In order to choose that particular auspicious date, it is advisable for you to contact a genuine feng shui master for advice.
